In January 2000, owner Jonathan Pruitt leveraged his OEM experience to establish JP Technical Services INC, a company dedicated to delivering industry-leading customer service.

Under Jonathan’s leadership, JP Tech rapidly became a leader in maintenance services across the coalfields of West Virginia, Eastern Kentucky, and Southwest Virginia.

Our reputation for solving complex challenges while prioritizing exceptional customer service and workmanship propelled JP Tech’s growth and sustains our success today.

In 2009, JP Tech expanded into transportation services with the creation of our Transportation Division. Sensing a demand for reliable and efficient equipment movement between job sites, we began acquiring tractors and trailers.

The subsequent launch of our lifting division in 2010, featuring our first boom truck, furthered our ability to cater to diverse customer needs. We offer comprehensive services, including teardown, loading, and hauling, which has given us the capability to move equipment of any size.

Twenty-one years since inception, Jonathan recognized the opportunity to diversify our business. Today, JP Tech proudly serves as an industry leader in heavy equipment maintenance across coal, gold, zinc, waste management, and hard rock mining sectors.
